The word was that Kroger would build where Dowda Equipment is now...turns out, according to a real estate agent, it will be built in the vacant lot across the street where the "Future home of Dowda Equipment" sign is. Apparently there are 30 acres back in the woods behind the lot.
If you live in the Bill Arp community and don't want a Kroger in your neighborhood, please sign my petition. It's in an earlier post.
