Tomato Recall

If you haven't already heard, most varieties of tomatoes have been recalled by the FDA.  The only tomatoes that aren't affected are tomatoes on the vine and grape tomatoes.  Publix on Hwy 5 pulled theirs either on Saturday night or Sunday morning--half the display was gone when I shopped on Sunday afternoon.  For more info about the recall, visit http://www.fda.gov/oc/opacom/hottopics/tomatoes.html

I love tomatoes.  I usually buy the plum tomatoes, which is one of the varieties that have been recalled, but lately have been buying the ones on the vine because they've looked pretty good.
